2 Red vases 5 inches tall
Inheritance
These are late 19th century hand blown cranberry glass vases with pate-sur-pate white hand painted decoration of children. These are referred to as 'Mary Gregory' wares. However the Mary Gregory attribution has long been proven an urban myth of sorts. These would have been produced in Bohemia. Later in the 20th century Fenton glass mass-produced Mary Gregory style glass. The estimate is for the pair together and is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
