9 sided red, yellow, light blue, clear glass piece from my parents honeymoon to Italy in 71. No paperwork, just that it and others pieces were around since, I can remember. Assuming it is not a knock off. It is approximately 7.5 inches wide, shy of 5 inches tall, with 3.5 plus deep bowl. All four corners show some damage, 2 are menial and 2 are slightly impacted. A few chips(some around bowl rim) and scratches are present. Seems like reasonable wear.
This, as well as other similar styles of glass were present through my upbringing, born in 75, supposedly from their Italian honeymoon in 1971.

Thank you for the response. So no markings, I did see that cross hatch pattern on another piece online. But not the case here. I had read about knockoffs from China, not familiar with that circa, but they(my parents) had many pieces similar in color and style. I remember them saying how heavy there luggage was on their trip home from Italy, if that is worth anything.
There are ten sides, if you include the open bowl side. Otherwise nine. Let know if you need more pictures. Thank you, again.
Thanks, Scott, you're all set with this.
Ashtrays are a notoriously difficult form to sell - I don't see the usual notches on the side that an ashtray always has so wondering if I just don't see them in the photo? And to confirm, there are NINE sides? Thanks to confirm,
Delia
And any signature on the bottom or any of the sides? I can't see anything in the photos so wanted to double check...
