What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be an open back S.S.Stewart "Monogram" model Banjo Mandolin of the early 20th century. The condition appears to be an issue. The tension hooks are rusty, some bruises, etc. In the current state I would consider this a restoration project. A vintage banjo of similar age but in good condition might sell for 350 USD at auction. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary. The estimate is based on current auction results for similars.
