Description

This saber comes with a scabbard. It has the letter Z encased by a crown at the base of the blade. Both the saber and scabbard are in great condition.

The presented object appears to be a Prussian Mod. 1889 Infantry Officer Sword with scabbard and portepee. It was produced between 1889 to 1918 and has the monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II. on the grip.

Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 200 to 500 USD.
