Hi Dylan,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The auction market for sneakers is pretty hot right now, with six and seven figures paid for some brands; I believe the record for a Converse sneaker is $190,373, paid in 2017 for Michael Jordan's '84 Olympics game used high-tops (https://scpauctions.com/mj-84-olympics-converse-shoes-sell-for-auction-record-price-190373/#:~:text=%24190%2C373%20%2D%20SCP%20AUCTIONS-,Michael%20Jordan's%20'84%20Olympics%20Converse%20Game%2DUsed%20Shoes%20Sell%20for,auction%20world%20record%20was%20set.).
Sneaker prototypes are a little harder to gauge, with relatively few coming to market. At present, Heritage Auctions is asking about $500 for a pair of 2007 Converse Sample Sneakers created for the 25th anniversary of Michael Jordan's 1982 NCAA Finals game-winning shot (https://sports.ha.com/itm/basketball-collectibles/others/2007-converse-sample-sneakers-created-for-the-25th-anniversary-of-michael-jordan-s-1982-ncaa-finals-game-winning-shot/a/50072-80604.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515). Based on this, yours has a fair-market value of $400-600.
