Santa Clara pottery cup
This is a black Santa Clara pottery cup. There is no signature or inscription on this piece, but it may have been made by Mildred “Millie” Chavarria as it resembles some of her work and was bought alongside a bowl that bears the inscription “Millie”. The cup is 4 1/2” high, 3 1/2” at its widest point, the mouth opening is 2 1/2” in diameter and the base is 2” in diameter.

Many members of the Chavarria family did work similar to that which Millie did; it's safer to leave off a specific attribution
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Santa Clara Pueblo carved blackware pottery bowl
attributed to the Chavarria family, mid/late 20th Century
The conical sides with carved geometrical decoration, unmarked
4 1/2 inches high, 3 1/2 inches diameter
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition
