Dear Greg,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The presented object appears to be a Japanese tea or coffee set for six persons made probably in the province of Satsuma. The pieces are decorated with silver dragons on a coral red fond. Such tea sets were produced for export to the Western countries since the late 19th century and the opening of Japans for import and export trade to the Western countries.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 40 to 80 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
