This is a 1940 - 1960's personal pedestal desk, with machine produced joinery, that was likely manufactured in America, though no maker tags or labels in this desk. These are a bit of a tough sell on today's market, especially in terms of current decorator taste. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
I looked in each drawer and on the inside of the desk and bottoms of drawers. Only markings I can find is the number "258" engraved in the wood with a number of 1-6 underneath which I'm assuming denotes the drawer number. These marks were in all six drawers. (Bottom drawers are double deep, which is why there are two handles). Nothing else to see π’
Please check inside the drawers for a possible maker mark, label or tag.
