This is Interesting oak piece with carved wooden heads on the bottom doors, one male on the left and one female head on the right each of these heads has a name below them .The drop diwnn has a detail wooden Induan head. There is a slat back panel inside bookcase. It was inherited but I have no idea the age other than it's over 100 years old as she would well be over that age today. It is good condition other several small strips of molding needs to put back on which I have them all but maybe one. I

It was inherited by a family member many years ago and may have been in my husbans's father's home way before my husband was born and my husband is 74.

Probably American, late 19th Century
In two sections, the top with outset molded cornice above two glazed doors opening to a shelved interior, the lower section comprising a fall front with bust medallion opening to a writing surface, over a long drawer with scrolled handles, over two cabinet doors with portrait bust medallions, on a box base.

CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with minor wear and separations commensurate with age and use.
