This is an antique, circa 1800, porcelain export ware armorial bowl from Canton China. The Dutch East India trade (defunct in 1799) was what enabled these wares to travel half-way around the world with bespoke decoration orders. The bowl is reticulated, or pierced-cut, and similar to Wedgwood creamware (later called Queensware). The decoration is hand painted, not transferprinted and there is some applied raised enamel as well. There is an unidentified coat of arms in the center with the Latin motto Memor esto Majorum, or Remember our Ancestors. This is signed and notated on the understand (not able to translate). Overall, for the age and form, this has lasted really well over time. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
