What does this mean?

Cosmopolitodus Hastalis Mako Shark Tooth Fossil
Possibly Early Miocene to Pliocene (5- 23 Million years old)
Origin Source: Southern Region of North America (Gulf of Mexico)

An excellent example of a semi-fossilized tooth from an early Cosmopolitodus Hastalis Mako shark or later Tiger, Blue, or White Shark of the region. This specimen has a whiter enamel indicating a more recent era of origin. The tooth has a large and heavy root with a high root face, a narrow crown width, and broad side cusps with visible serrations. I believe this to be a lateral tooth. Measurements: 2 inch length; unknown weight. An in-person evaluation could confirm the exact age, and if so: the higher estimate would be the suggested fair market value.
