What does this mean?

Dear Framm,

I think this is a early 20th century Robe from china. Maybe up to 1920. Its well executed and made for a lady in higher class of Chinese society. The figures have no symbolic meaning I believe and the rich red and fine made embroidery is purely made to impress. These robes are more sought after every day as the original one's of good quality are increasingly difficult to buy.
