The sword is made by J.J. Runkel Solinger it is inscribed on the spine of the blade. The blade itself is also engraved with various pictures including a crown and a crossed spear and cannon. The handle in engraved with the words “VI ET VIRTUTE”. The handle is chipped at the pommel and the blade has a light patina.
