The painting depicts a typical Australian landscape. It has been signed.
Unfortunately, I have no history for this painting (purchased in a second-hand shop) but it looks great in it's ornate gold frame and goes well with my pioneering lifestyle.

Hi Delia, How are things going with the valuation ? Do you need any more details / information or photos ? Regards, Irene
Thanks, Irene, you're all set.
Hi Delia, I am very pleased with your valuation. As I feel that selling it by auction is best, can you suggest which auction house specialises in my type of painting ? I also would like a valuation on a 1934 Adler recorder, but will sort out credits first. Thank you again, regards, Irene
Happy to help, Irene!
I'm not very familiar with auction houses in Australia but you should look for an auction house that sells 19th Century British paintings and that has a global audience by way of online internet sales. Any auction house you reach out to should be willing to give you their opinion of this without charge. If you have marked this as "for sale," it is now visible on our marketplace and people can contact you with an offer.
Let me know if you have other questions.
I appreciate your prompt and useful advice. Thank you, Irene
Hi Delia, The painting is 500mm H X 900mm W excluding the frame. Looking forward to your appraisal. Regards, Irene
