I am representing artist Kourosh Solaimani who is a well known caricature artist who has done work for Coca-Cola, Mercedes Benz, AT&T, Rap stars, Major League sports teams, and has been covered in news articles/Interviews   (CNN & BBC London) and magazines worldwide (Iran, Europe, and the US). We are trying to sell his original 1988  signed Mickey Mantle caricature, we were previously told it was around $20,000 but are looking for an updated appraisal as we are finally trying to sell. About the Artwork: Kourosh was commissioned by Edward Castanuela of Edward Allen Co. Specifically for Mickey Mantle, as they were trying to create a limited edition poster line that Mantle would sign and sell as collectors pieces. Before the project could be completed, Mantle sold the rights to his signature, leaving this as the one-and-only version and comes with the authenticated Mickey Mantle signature. Around the border is the faces of the other 65 Baseball hall of Fame players from that year, and in the middle shows Mantle at his most authentic.
