14 inches high on stand x 9.25 inches wide.
My grandfather a Federal Judge purchased this along with a few other ones and some platters. I'm assuming they were purchased in the 1950's.
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful teapot and stand set. Such vintage teasets are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
Your teapot and stand and tray is made of silverplated metal. The marks underneath are not silver marks and on the edges/where the it has been joined the metal underneath is visible.
The lovely set was probably made in the first part of the 1900s when this type of table setting was very fashionable and the wealthy families did not have to concern themselves with practical items.
Due to the material the estimate is not in the high end of the scale. however it is a very lovely and apparently wellkept set.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online silver auction, where I believe the teapot on stand and tray has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the set. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
