So that I may best assist you, can you take clear, close up photos of the marks on the bottom and add them to this appraisal? When I enlarge the photos the marks are too blurry to read.

Hi Charles,
I'm not sure if you saw my earlier message about better photos of the marks but so as I can move this appraisal along, I've appraised it somewhat generally as a pierced German circular trivet, which I can then fine-tune if/when you're able to send clear photos of the marks.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage German silver pierced circular trivet
unattributed maker, 20th Century
Of circular section with pierced handles at both ends, the body pierced with cut out acanthus scrolls, the pierced border incorporating swastikas, marked indistinctly to the verso.
10 inches diameter
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with some wear from age and use.
PROVENANCE: inherited
