Small ceramic type vase maybe hand made.
It is about 6 " tall and about 2" wide at the widest part. It appears to have had the upper part broken and glued back together(see pics). Also highest part has chip. Has 1898 date on it with a #13 also.
Aunt who passed away in 2014 at 99. She found it in attic when she bought the house in 1950.

The cylindrical twisted body with elaborate decorative treatment at top and foot, with allover green matte glaze and applied white foliate decoration; impressed underneath 13 and dated 1898

CONDITION: not examined in person; client represents this to have some minor losses near the top
PROVENANCE: found in the attic of a house by client's aunt
