6"h, 2-1/8 top, 3" bottom
My grandmother (I am 78) acquired them from a tavern in Brussels. Apparently 24k gold
Good afternoon, Elizabeth,
Thank you for confirming the number of goblets, which are absolutely beautiful.
These were made in Europe in the mid to late 19th century; without a maker's mark or other information its difficult to know exactly where but they were made primarily in Italy and Germany. I have not been able to find a set of six exactly similar goblets but the following recent auction sales give me a good idea of what the current auction market for yours are, which I think would bring $150-200 each as they are, in my expert opinion, nicer than the ones that have come up for auction:

Based on the information and photographs provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A set of six Continental gilt-overlaid and swirl blown clear glass goblets
mid-late 19th century
gilding possibly 24 karat gold
each 6 inches high; diameter of top 2-1/8 inches; diameter of foot 3 inches
PROVENANCE: acquired from a Belgium tavern by client's grandmother, thence by descent
$900-1,200 (represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.)
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise and thank you for using Mearto.
