What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This is a handpainted and gloss gold transfer printed porcelain bowl, marked at the base 大偎軒製 or "Made in Okinawa". This bowl was made mid 20th century for the japanese market. The gloss gold is worn off, there is a chip and a hairline crack which affects the value. The butterfly as a symbol has many meanings in japanese culture. First of all it is a beautiful motif, but it might also mean the transformation of a girl into a young lady, there are spiritual connotations too.
I hope the information provided was helpful to you.
