Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

Italian School, late 19th Century
Portrait bust of a maiden in a cap
carved alabaster or marble
back marked "Made in Italy"
5 1/2 inches tall, base 6 inches wide, probably 3-4 inches deep
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition; some dirt accumulation commensurate with age
PROVENANCE: acquired at auction
$200-300*
