A tea canister ( for dried tea leaves ) made in China around 1680. This period is called Kangxi period by the emperor of that time. It misses its original lid but that has not huge effect on the value. Kangxi emperor was known for his love of porcelain and he demanded the best quality and also invested in that. Due to his interest the quality of the porcelain and also the decorations improved. The high standard he expected is still recognized these days and Kangxi porcelain is sought after and collected. You can sell this canister tomorrow since there is big interest. Prices go up steady so I would not be in a hurry to sell if I were you. In China they love to buy this and it becomes more and more difficult to buy these on the market.
