This is a solid oak china cabinet that matches the accompanying sideboard. Cabinet measures 64.5" high by 50" wide by 17.5" deep. Cabinet has 3 removable solid oak shelves making 4 shelf areas total. The top two shelves are backed by the original mirrors. Center door is flanked by beveled glass on either side. Excellent condition.
Both sideboard and matching china chest were inherited from my great aunt and are between 80 and 100 years old.
Dear Cynthia,
This is a beautiful oak china hutch, it lovely early 20th century construction. Thank you for calling upon the experts at Mearto to evaluate it.
It works in this piece's favor that it has been so well cared for. The glass is clearly original and the patina looks warm and with only expected wear. If you were to place this piece at a well publicized auction, I would expect an estimate between $350 and $450USD.
Thank you very much for your submission.
Sincerely,
Erin-Marie
