I think this is a Goebel piece in perfect condition. My mother learned the list price in 1979 was $52.50, so I'm wondering if it is worth more or less now.

Hi Judy,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Sacrart refers to a specific line or category of religious porcelain items produced by Goebel Porzellan — essentially Goebel’s “sacred art” series. These include religious figurines and sculptures — e.g., Madonna and Child, Angels, Saints, Holy Family, Holy Infant of Prague, and other devotional subjects. They are items aimed at devotional or ecclesiastical use or religious display rather than playful collectibles like the Hummel figures that are Goebel's claim to fame.
These Sacrart pieces were mainly produced in mid‑20th century West Germany (1950s–1960s), often marked with Goebel trademarks and Sacrart labels or references. Many examples are now found on the antiques and vintage market, especially among collectors of religious decorative art and porcelain figurines.
Carl F. Luckey's "Hummel Figurines & Plates, Identification and Price Guide" identifies an original listing price of $52.50 but this would have been a retail price; the value for this has dropped considerable and this would probably sell at auction for between $20 and $30.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
