What does this mean?

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. Based on the photographs and description provided, the subject of this appraisal is a cancelled (used or postmarked) piece of United States postal stationery in the 2 cent carmine on white paper variety, with the stationary produced from 1916 to 1932, with an additional 1 cent Benjamin Franklin green stamp which was a US regular issue from 1922 through its replacement in 1938.

The postmark dates the items as being sent in 1934. The condition of the stamps are estimated at Used Fine. The stamps and the stationery were quite common during their day with some very rare exceptions and variations, but these appear to be the more common issues.

In consideration of the factors noted, a Fair Market Value (pre-auction estimate) of this piece would be estimated at approximately $2 to $5.
