I am not sure what the 'L' (or '7'?) refers to - I don't think it has particular meaning to the identification or value of this stool.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A primitive Asian style joined yewwood stool
early 20th Century
The top rabbeted into the four rough-hewn cylindrical legs, with box stretcher.
9 1/4 inches high, 12 3/4 inches wide, 8 1/2 inches deep
