Stone Loon
08 February 2022
Description

This is a 6.2lb stone loon or goose by Mikisiti Saila. Not sure about the spelling of the first name. I believe he is an Inuit artist. The loon has M Saila and 1995 carved in the bottom. It is 12.25” long, 5.25” high and 4.25” wide.

Provenance

I do not know the history. It was in my father’s collection that I inherited.
