What does this mean?

Thank you, Amalia, for the dimensions of these pieces.

Henderson Furniture Co. has been making furniture since the early 20th century, in a wide variety of styles. It is quality reproduction furniture that competed against furniture makers like Stickley, but at a significantly lower price point. Pieces made by Henderson do not come to auction very much, possibly because they have a fairly low market value that makes them expensive to sell with not much in return.

If sold together, the suite would probably bring $1,000-1,500 at auction but if the pieces were sold separately (keeping the chairs together) they might bring more. I have priced them individually below.

Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, you have:

A Henderson Furniture Company Cherrywood Dining Suite
American, probably mid 20th Century
Comprising: a dining table, six chairs and a buffet
Table is 77-1/2 inches (greatest length), 37-3/4 inches wide, 30 inches high, with has two attachable leaves at each end of the table that collapse under the table. the leaf are 12" long. Without leaves, 53-1/2 inches long. ($600-900)
the chairs are 17" high from the seat to the floor and 39" high. (300-500)
The buffet is 20" wide by 60" long by 36" high. ($400-600)
(Values represent fair-market values for auction purposes; retail or asking prices may vary).

Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you for using Mearto.

the table is 77-1/2 Long, 37-3/4 Wide, 30" High- it has two attachable leaf at each end of the table that collapse under the table. the leaf are 12" long. So the table without the leafs is 53-1/2 long.
the chairs are 17" high from the seat to the floor and 39" high. The buffet is 20" wide x 60" long x 36" high. if you need more information please let me know.
Thank You
