Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be an early watercolour by Sally Strand, a very accomplished artist who widely exhibited in the past years. The watercolor of 12 x 20 inches ( I assume) is apparently signed lower left. Unfortunately none of Sally Strand´s watercolours have been sold or offered at auction. Collectors of her artworks seem to cling on to the paintings. The estimate is based on similar paintings of comparable quality by lesser known artists offered or sold at auction. "Asking prices" or gallery prices are usually much higher than auction results, unless of course a secondary market value has been established by several auction results.
