It was my dad’s and before that, it was his mother’s. I don’t know where she came across it.

The presented object appears to be the book "The Story Of My Life" by Helen Keller which was published by Grosset & Dunlop in New York. The signature on the frontispiece is a facsimile. This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
