Our family bought it back in the 1950s at an estate sale in upstate NY and I can not find another one like it! I tried!

Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Savonarola style carved and turned mahogany bench
early 20th Century
With shaped back surmounted by a waterleaf- and rosette-carved crest, horizontal turned arms over horizontal pierced splats, rounded seat, all on tall cabriole legs joined by a box stretcher.
34 1/2 inches high, 25 inches wide across arms, 17 1/2 inches deep
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with wear commensurate to age and use.
PROVENANCE: acquired at an upstate NY estate sale in the 1950s
