Tjokok is a deceased Balinese wood carver. I might be spelling his name wrong. There is a museum being built in Bali to honor his work. This is an antique piece and stands approximately 40" high.
It was my father's. He passed away a couple years ago. He left behind several things including this carving.
Dear Ferrin,
I believe your statue is indeed made by I Nyoman Tjokot (1888 – 1971), born in Djati, Gianyar, Bali. It is a really nice example, well cut. He gained his inspiration for his work from sacred Hindu texts and folk legend. Your statue is big and that add to the value. I recommend selling it if possible in Australia or New Sealand. Bidders are there. I realize its not that easy from were you live but It is maybe worthwhile to get the best price. Estimation I put on is conservative. It is possible price is going higher if the right bidders are there.
I added a bunch of pics. Hopefully this helps.
Dear Ferrin,
Doing some research, I will come back to you soon.

Simon Breider
