Hello Abigail,
I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal,
Considering the photographs, overall pattern, faience quality and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entirely Hand Painted Set of Two Henriot Quimper Plates and One Henriot Quimper Jar with Lid. Henriot Quimper is a very important French Company famous for it's hand painted faience work starting from the mid 19th century. The company is famous for their "Breton" figure especially. The set dates back to the period from 1904 to 1950's. The Jar is likely older than the rest, circa 1910, of the set. On one of the plates we can see a male Breton figure while on the other we can see a demale Breton figure. On the jar, the piece is decorated more realistically. The female figure was executed in a quality over average for the company's Breton figure. The jar has four feet shaped as lion paws. This is to show the prestige of the item, the jar is considerably a more important piece than the plates. The jar is quite rare. Both the plates and the jar are decorated florally on it's decorations. All pieces are in good condition without visible problems.
Entirely hand painted.
Dimensions: Plates are 7 Inches in Diameter, The Jar is 10 Inches High 9.5 Inches Wide from the Handles and 5 Inches Deep.
Condition: All pieces are in good condition without visible problems.
Provenance: Unknown.
200-250$ for the set.
