Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A pair of Aesthetic Movement embroidered velvet or chenille portiere panels
late 19th Century
Each in dark green with outer edge and outer lower corner with cream-colored and metallic thread embroidery, tasseled fringe along outer edges (mostly lacking). Backed with printed cotton or linen. Unmarked/unsigned.
each 49 by 80 inches
CONDITION: With some wear, fading, minor staining and minor losses to fringe.
PROVENANCE: Acquired from an auction house

Looks like their is some gold needlework?
It's possible some metallic thread was used in the embroidery; it's hard to tell from the photos so would appear to be on the minimal side and does not positively impact the value but I've added it to this appraisal for accuracy.
They are both identical, Bought them at a yard sale
