This is a very heavy porcelain Jardiniere mounted in an ornate cast bronze mount. The porcelain is hand painted with figural scenes and crackle in the glaze throughout, not sure if it was intentional or if it's crazed. The bronze mount features scroll handles, shell motifs and paw feet. I believe the manufactuer of the porcelain is United Wilson but unsure who the maker is for the bronze mount. Both the porcelain and bronze are clearly marked. I will be attaching several photo's including the close-up showing the makers marks which will be the last two pictures attached.

Hello, this item is a large Chinese porcelain jardinière mounted in an ornate gilt bronze stand, combining hand painted porcelain with European style bronze mounts. The porcelain body is decorated with continuous figural scenes in polychrome enamels, executed in a manner consistent with late Qing dynasty export wares produced for the Western market. The crackle visible in the glaze is characteristic of intentional craquelure often used in Chinese ceramics, rather than accidental damage. The porcelain shows the weight, thickness, and painting quality associated with decorative export porcelain rather than imperial court production. The attribution to United Wilson is plausible, as United Wilson was a Western distributor known for importing and branding Chinese porcelain in the late 19th to early 20th century, particularly pieces later mounted in Europe or the United States.
The gilt bronze mount, featuring scrolling handles, shell motifs, and paw feet, is European in taste and likely dates to the late 19th or early 20th century, possibly French or Continental, added to enhance the decorative and commercial value of the porcelain. Condition appears very good overall, with the porcelain intact and the bronze mounts structurally sound, showing normal surface wear consistent with age. Comparable Chinese export porcelain jardinières with high quality gilt bronze mounts of this size and weight typically sell between $3,000 and $6,000 USD, depending on decoration, condition, and confirmed marks.
