My father was gifted this watercolor by the artist. It came with some documentation to establish its value, as it was submitted for some kind of non-profit fundraiser a number of years ago (I don't know if it failed to sell? I've heard there are a lot of Chinese watercolors around). Apparently the artist was voted number two in the country of China at some point in his life according to the documentation. But I have no idea if this painting is actually worth anything. The frame and the painting are in excellent condition.
