Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a very late orientalist painting, depicting a city in northern africa, busy people walking along the city streets. Two tall minarets, a mosque and palm trees under a blue sky are the components of this impressionistic view of most likely Tangier. The painting is signed lower right "Frieberg" or similar. In the 1950s and 1960s such exotic cityscapes were very popular in Germany, often sold in larger department stores for home decor. The estimate is based on similar items by lesser known commercial artists offered or sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
