Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful brooch. Such vintage jewellery are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
It is a cast brass brooch, the design points towards the first half of the 20th century around the 1930s-1940s where this kind of motif and style of depicting the woman was in fashion. Since there are no markings I believe the brooch to be made of brass by an unknown but skilled craftsman. The value of jewellery often lies in the materials that have been used where gold and platinium with precious stones are the most sought after. A brooch made of brass will still have the interest of collectors, however the price is much lower compared to the above mentioned materials.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the brooch has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the lovely brooch. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
