I have an original piece of art in which I acquired after my father's death. As a child, my father would remind me that this artwork was gifted to him after it was recovered from the small space between two burned down buildings in Dumbo, Brooklyn long ago. As an art collector, quite novice, I've inspected the artwork and summarized the following information: It is measured at 4 feet wide and 3 feet high, it is indeed an original on stretched canvas and the artist framed it him/herself. There is no signature so it is quite difficult to research the artwork. Please help.

Dear Carmelo,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil or acrylic paint on canvas with the measurements of 3 x 4 feet. The painting depicts three persons holding the middle person in a colorful abstracted style. There is no signature visible and this painting was probably made in the last third of the 20th century by a not listed or known artist.
Works by this artist were recently not offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 200 to 400 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
