Dear Simon,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay of the apprisal.
The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil paint on canvas with the measurements of 12 x 9 inches. The painting depicts a harp playing woman in an antique costume. This painting was possibly made after an existing print or painting. The concept, the composition is much better than the technical details of the painting itself. The original painting was probably made around 1860or 1880 and this painting in the late 19th or more probable in the 20th century.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 100 to 200 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
