Description

Manufactured by the Colonial Manufacturing Company of Zeeland, Michigan. Sold under the Vanleigh brand. (See photo) Probably Cherry wood in veneers and solid wood. Twin base cabinets with break-away doors: one with linen and silverware drawers (oak-stained cherry); the other shelving, and space. Hutch cabinet: shelving Brass swivel handles (also on drawers). Far-East style pull plates. Very Good Condition. Some scratches on the far left and right side corners. Cabinet has retained its fresh wood scent.

A vintage Midcentury Modern cherrywood stepback hutch cabinet
Treasure House Collection made by the Colonial Manufacturing Company of Zeeland, Mich.; retailed by Vanleigh, New York City
Of rectangular section in two parts, the upper stepback part with outset molded cornice over a centered cupboard area with two hinged paneled doors flanked by open shelves and grill sides, the lower section with two double-cupboard doors with paneled fronts opening to enclosed drawers on one side and shelves on the other, all on short straight square-section feet. Chinoiserie style cast brass pulls.
75 inches high, 72 inches wide, 19 inches depth of lower section.
CONDITION: appears to be in generally good condition with wear commensurate to age and use.
