What does this mean?

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.

You have a Continental parcel-gilt, transfer-decorated, double-handled vase. These vases were mass produced Europe in the first-half of the 20th century. The decoration on the exterior is not hand painted, or in some cases, partially hand painted. The decoration is transferred onto the porcelain from a printed facsimile, making it easier to produce the items in large number.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of hand craftsmanship, these vases are quite modest in value.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I'm happy to help.
