This is an antique Victorian era, 19th century, circa 1870 - 1880, matching 3-piece mantle set. The material is majolica, or tin glazed earthenware, The set is reticulated, or pierce-cut, with brown spatter and pastel colored glazes. These were likely produced in Germany. The numbers 608 on the underside are for the mold form shape and the red hand-executed T is an in-house quality control initial mark for the person who decorated the pieces. Neither the number nor the T can be traced back to the producer. The estimate is for the set and based on actual past recorded auction sales of comparables.
