Hi Angela,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
From the photos, I can tell this is from the mid 20th Century, which sounds like it might not be *quite* as old as 100 years and should more appropriately be called "vintage" rather than "antique" (in appraiser's parlance, the legal definition of an antique is something that is 100 years old or older).
Most small mirrors of this vintage usually sell at auction for less than $400, usually in the $150-350 range.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Murano etched and applied glass mirror
unattributed maker, mid 20th Century
With arched top, tapered sides and curved base, with applied green and pink or orange rosettes at the corners, centering a plate with an etched jester figure within a foliate border.
20 by 10 1/2 inches
CONDITION: This appears to be in good condition
PROVENANCE: Acquired from an estate sale
$150-350*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, or questions/concerns, and thank you again for using Mearto.
