Greetings and good evening. Thank you for submitting images of your oil on canvas painting depicting a landscape and signed on verso J. Huber. The style is quite similar to an artist by the name of Johann Caspar Huber (1752-1827) but it's difficult for me to be sure.
To be more precise in my evaluation, may I request a few more detailed images of the details of your painting and a full image of the back so that I can see the wood bars the canvas is attached to (stretcher bars). I'd also like to know if there are any additional signatures on the face of the painting in the lower left or right corners? If so please include that image as well because while the style is generally similar, it's the details and the signature style that will assist in determining if the piece is by him or similar to his work and with a similar signature.

Thank you so much for the additional information. From where I sit I would say that because of the difference in style as well as signature, this piece is was not painted by J. C. Huber, as speculated above. It is likely that there is an an artist by the name of J. Huber who has not yet made in onto the secondary market.
If this piece was offered as a period piece and frame by a yet unknown artist, I'd expect it to sell between $200 and $300USD. If you have any additional follow-up questions, I am always available.
