Hi April,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Utah Tailoring Mills was a women’s and men’s outerwear manufacturer based in Ogden, Utah, active mainly from the 1940s through the 1960s. They produced high-quality coats, suits, and jackets, often from wool or wool blends, and sold them through regional department stores.
This appears to have been made in the 1950s, with that broad silhouette and the lines of the back.
If this were sold in a vintage clothing auction - this would likely bring between $30 and $60, though retailers might price comparable examples for higher prices.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, or questions/concerns, and thank you again for using Mearto.
