This ring was left to me by my grandmother, but I do not know when or where she acquired it or who manufactured it. The inside of the band is stamped “925,” indicating that it is sterling silver. It has a square, princess-cut clear centre stone held in a raised setting, surrounded by several smaller round clear stones on both sides. I do not have any original receipt, packaging or gemstone certificate, so the type and size of the stones are unknown. The ring is in pre-owned condition and shows some tarnishing and normal signs of wear consistent with its age. The stones appear to be intact, although the settings have not been professionally inspected. I would like to determine its approximate age, origin, gemstone type and current market value.

Dimensions currently unknown. The ring appears to have an approximately 6–7 mm square centre stone, but exact measurements have not been taken.
