Hello Delia,
Yes, that is the only marking that I see on the bottom of the lamp and I will take another photo in a better lit area.
Thank-you!

Hello again Delia,
I have added 4 more photos in better light. I hope this helps!
Also, I am asking please that I may also have an appraised value on all of my items, and not just a fair market value of them, because the reason I had them appraised was to receive the appraised value on the items.
Thank-you!

Hi Wendy,
The values Mearto provides are fair-market, for auction purposes. While we don't provide insurance valuations per se, there is a feature where you can see what that value would be (some insurance companies will accept that, other won't).
Can you please be a bit more specific as to what you want to use these appraisals for? Once I know that, I'll finish the appraisal on this lamp...
Thanks,
Delia

Hello again,
I would like the appraisals for several reasons. First of all, these are items that were left to me by my parents. I would like to know what the true value of these items are. I did not plan to place them in an auction house, but rather either keep them or sell them to a collector or someone who would pay a reasonable price for them. Your website states that we purchase "appraisals" and so I thought that that is what I was receiving. There may be items that I would sell on the Marketplace, but no matter what, I would like the actual appraisal for them. I am just wondering why you do not give us appraisals, as you say that you have appraisers giving the "appraisal" for the items? Please advise and thank-you.

HI Wendy,
The Beanie Baby bear, coin clock and wicker baby carriage have all been appraised - you should be able to print the appraisals. I am still working on this lamp appraisal, and our clock appraiser has not yet finished the appraisal on your mantel clock. If you can't print the appraisals, please let me know and I can ask our customer service dept to send you a document that is printable.
Appraisers are skilled - usually from years if not decades of handling works of art, objects and collectibles. This experience gives us a pretty good idea of what things are worth - usually its a range (in this case, it's called a low estimate and high estimate.)
Clients getting our appraisals can choose to have items appraised with an insurance value (usually to keep) or to sell (in which we establish an asking price. Your appraisals are marked as if you are to keep them and you have to revise this so that we can put an asking price on these.
Items listed as "for sale" with a status of "public," are automatically listed on our marketplace and interested buyers can reach out to you directly. You are not obligated to accept any offers.
Does that answer your questions? I'll finish your lamp appraisal now, in the format it was initially set up in.

The gold clock and the lamp were marked for sale, as it is noted in the form I filled out, and is reflected in your online site. Please let me know if I need to do anything differently. I think those two items are marked for sale.
Thank-you!

The coin clock and wicker baby carriage have insurance values as if you want to keep them - you should be able to change them manually (I can't do it) but if you can't figure out how to do that, let me know and I'll ask our customer service dept to do it (can take up to 24 hours as we are all an international team, with appraisers and staff around the world).
