This stamp is used but in beautiful condition! I do not detect any gum on the back side and not well centered!

Hi Timothy,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
According to this retail website (https://www.mysticstamp.com/Products/United-States/721/USA/), the value on this stamp is very modest. It may not even be worth $5-10 at auction but I am loathe to put a smaller value on anything.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Scott 721 deep violet 3c George Washington stamp
1932
Gilbert Stuart portrait, four perforated sides, strong color, cancelled, off-center
(DIMENSIONS)
CONDITION: no gum residue, generally in very good condition
$5-10*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you again for using Mearto.
If you have a few books of stamps, it may make sense to find a local stamp dealer in your area who would look through them and make suggestions on value. You can always call the Appraisers Association of America to find a stamp expert in your area.
