What does this mean?

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. Based on the photographs and description provided, the subject of this appraisal is a United States 1920 2 cent Washington stamp in the Carmine, Type IV (Scott Number 526) variety with the top plate number 10860 affixed.

This plate number single stamp has not been graded, so based on photographic examination, the stamp would generally be considered in fine to average unused condition as it shows signs of having been hinged, and the centering of the stamp is approximately in fine condition, being horizontally skewed. The paper appears crisp and the ink vivid.

In consideration of the factors noted, a Fair Market Value (pre-auction estimate) of this piece would be estimated at $15 to $30.
